Entertaining and well-researched. King has a habit of ruining many of his books with overlong endings and purple off key notes but this one is mostly pitch perfect. I listened to this on audiobook. It was well acted though some of the minor characters sounded like impressions of celebrities, which could be distracting. But the story remained a compelling, suspenseful love story. The time travel mechanics will not satisfy an SF purist -- the yellow card man (so many questions!) as deus ex machina-- but that is just a device for the story. Now I want a fresh root beer.
