Once again, this is a book that I listened to on tape, and I found it to be utterly mesmerizing. This is not your typical Jodi Picoult fare--she steps outside the box here, and I think it shows her versatility as a writer. The father's comic book characters mirror the angst he feels about the troubles in his family. (Of course, I had to get a copy of the book to fully appreciate the use of the artwork.) I was surprised at the twists the plot takes in the story and was engaged to the very end. If you love JP like I do, don't skip this one!
