I won this book in the First Reads giveaways. I couldn't put this book down, it was so good. I was a little girl when JFK was assassinated, yet I felt like I knew all about it from listening to my mother. This inside look was amazing. It was so sad, I actually cried, which I didn't expect. We grew up with his portrait on the wall of our family room. Jackie was a very strong woman and this gave a great inside look at her life in the white house. Clint Hill was so dedicated, it's a shame that today's secret service men aren't more like him. I did wonder how his marriage held up though. I wish there was more mentioned on his family, did his family understand? Did they know what a wonderful thing he did? I hope so.
