It's been a while since I enjoyed a read as much as I enjoyed reading this Liveship trilogy, reading each book back to back.
Lots for me to enjoy in this ... well developed characters, lots of details.
The books are written from various points-of-view, and I can understand how some people would not like that. Initially I was a little put out at the sudden change of tack to what seemed to be a very different character in totally different circumstances...this tactic I found more enjoyable as the story progressed and allowed for a lot of in depth character development.
This is the second Trilogy written by Robin Hobb that I have read and I am definitely looking to read more of this world she writes about.
Next up - The Tawny Man trilogy... but I'm going to take a little time to savour this read.
