Read from June 11 to 23, 2012 — I own a copy, read count: 1

I bought this book on a whim without even knowing what it was about due to the appearance of the cover... however I quickly grew to love it! The story is divided into 4 separate parts (Human, Vampire, Monster, & Wanderer) each exposing different emotional trials in Allison's life. As you progress though the story you can not help but to adore Allison, you will fill her joy, pain, and sorrow as you see situations though her eyes. The world that she is forced to live in is one I can not fathom, but Kagawa brings it to life! In all the darkness that surrounds this novel, you will be drawn to the faint light in the distance.... HOPE! I just wish the 2nd installment of this series was done because I am already craving more!!!!
