Plenty of fun but not particularly profound. I'm not sure why it was nominated for the Prometheus Award. There's very little politics in it. The protagonist struggles within a massive virtual reality game against a corrupt corporation to win an enormous legacy. The US of the future is depicted as a dystopia, but the characters and action of the story take that as given and do not seek to change that status quo.
