it was amazing

I love fantasy and so that is part of the reason why this is my favourite Shakespeare play. One of the great things about Shakespeare plays is his lack of stage directions, meaning that his plays are very open to interpretation (making them great fun for directors and just to read). I think that this feature really lends itself to 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' because it's set in this mythical world. I love that this play is whatever I want it to be. The developed characters, their funny mishaps and exciting stories can be found in any of Shakespeare's other comedies but for me there isn't the same magical auror around the stories.
