As usual a fast paced John Grisham book. He really puts the drama of the world of lawyers and court in such a fantastic twist that we are left wondering whether a common man can ever come out unscathed if he ever needs the help of law.

Two friends who have passed the bar after innumerable tries and start a law firm ;they are always dreaming of making the big bucks every lawyer dreams of.Rochelle, their client first whom they are unable to help but ultimately is so much around the office that she becomes their secretary and handles their front desk.
Waiting like vultures for accidents to happen on the busy street they are located on, working divorce cases, helping with traffic tickets is the sum total of the cases they handle, until Wally one of the partners wants to sue a pharmaceutical company for their cholestrol lowering drug which is proving fatal. He runs around getting cases for them and hops on the bandwagon with a very reputable firm and starts dreaming of big bucks
David a harvard educated lawyer who breaks down with the relentless workload of the high paying law firms where he earns 300,000 a year Fate gets them together ,David is appalled with how the two partners run the firm, but enjoys the freedom to lead his own life. He streamlines the way how the lawyers work and works their system for them with his expertise. Mr Grisham has woven such a fantastic tale of how the system works and how these three lawyers form a bond and work the system is really a treat to read. A good read
