really liked it

Despite the more high minded intentions of the Unwritten series, Carey succeeds because he never fails to remember that drama comes from forward motion. Rather than get lost in the minutia of literature and social control, he drives the story with several key plot moves and some startling action, and no few twists. We finally get to meet the elusive Wilson Taylor, we find out that Lizzie may not be who she thinks she is, and we actually score a win for the heroes. All alongside references to Paddington the Bear.
