CLUB SHADOWLANDS by Cherise Sinclair

This was a GREAT story and a wonderful start to this series. The first 7 chapters were all about the night that Zachary (Master Z) and Jessica met and what a night!

It all started the night Jessica’s car lands in a ditch on her way home from a bad date. She starts walking to the closest place for help which happens to be ‘Club Shadowlands’. Jessica is allowed in only after signing the proper release forms which she doesn’t really read. Bad girl but who can blame her,she is cold and miserable from walking in the rain. Jessica is then introduced to Sir, “What the heck kind of name was Sir?”

To Jessica “Sex was just too stressful” but something Master Z said started her thinking “Many women fantasize about having a man take charge in the bedroom.” Hmmm…and the fun begins.

The relationship between Jessica and Master Z was playful, teasing and affectionate. I didn’t find anything hardcore about Master Z or his commands. Jessica is an assertive and independent woman who doesn’t suffer fools gladly. This is evident when she comes to the defense of a couple of women during this story much to the chagrin of Master Z. Those we funny moments… “Rough Night, Kitten?”
