This is yet another book I was forced to read in high school. This one actually came from a teacher that didn't suck at picking books though. After reading he first chapter, I was thoroughly engaged in this book and couldn't put it down. The book is full of heartbreaking realities and does a great job of painting of picture of things going on in our own country that many of us tend to turn a blind eye to.
