** spoiler alert ** The Possibility of Fireflies is a book about a teenage girl and her older sister who do some crazy things as teenagers. Her sister befriends a wild girl named Justina who gets her into all kinds of trouble, including, smoking, drinking, and being accused of arson. At the same time she is trying to cope with an abusive, careless mother who has no intent on being a parent any more. In the midst of all this, the teen meets a much older guy who moves in next door. She falls in love with him and in the end, she decides to travel with him and his band group, even though he said they couldnt date. I recommend this book for older kids. It is ok.

Dominique Paul I just wanted to point out that your account of the books ending

"She falls in love with him and in the end, she decides to travel with him and his band group, even though he said they couldnt date"

is completely inaccurate. Please go back and read the book to the end!
