The dedication to the real Mary Elizabeth Brown, was very cute in an old card catalog drawer, I also enjoyed the beginning of the story with Elizabeth Brown "dropping straight down from the sky."

However, even though I enjoyed the beginning, nothing else did much for me. I found the avid reader to be a bit stereotypical and the pictures of the overflowing books to be a bit off putting. (Maybe because my husband complains about all my books and is trying so hard to get me to switch to a kindle.)

Joan I used to use this for the first storytime of the school year. I think kids got that it was exaggerated. I hope so! They seemed to enjoy it. I always did.
