Jaime is a typical middle schooler. She has a best friend, a crush on boys and a mortal enemy in Angeline, the beautiful, popular girl. During one trip to the Principal's office, Jaime spies Angeline's permanent record. From that moment on, Jaime makes it her mission to get her hands on that file and find out all of Angeline's secrets. But Jaime finds out that even when your plan is perfect, the outcome may not be as you had hoped.

A clever, funny little book that will appeal to the middle school girl with a sense of humour, especially as the novel is written in a diary style. Humours illustrations help add to the story's style and appeal.
