Too slow-moving for me. It took half the book before the H/H get it on with each other and that wasn't even erotic. There was no wit or chemistry in their bantering so I thought I'd focus on the suspense-action element. Unfortunately, the author seemed intent on making it an erotic romance so that aspect wasn't moving along either. In all, a huge disappointment because I'm not going to finish it...too many books, only one lifetime to read them.

You MUST read book 1 BUT...don't read it until you have book 2 in hand AND book 3! LOL! Why? Cos Eve & Roarke's romance develops in book 1 and 2 ends in a "romance-cliffhanger" so be warned. If I didn't have Book 3, I'd be tearing my hair out cos by Book 2 (Glory)I'm so totally addicted to Roarke, I can hardly breathe.I really do get withdrawal symptoms when I'm not reading the book. Hell, I get withdrawal symptoms when he's out off-planet and Eve is battling stuff (internal and external) on her own.
On second thoughts, read Naked but just make sure Glory and Immortal are available. Hey, I think this post should be under the In Death series discussion, not here. Is there a discussion for the series? If there is, I'll move our posts there, ok?
There is a J D Robb group and I've joined it. Since I have just about the entire series (I didn't buy the ones that have too much of the New Age stuff) so it'll be helpful to have people who can answer my questions.I haven't copied our posts there since you haven't started on the book and may not even like the series. Do let me know when you read it, please!
So much for this book I see. Are you finding the IN DEATH books addictive? I have book 1 on TBR but haven't started it for fear of really liking it and wanting to buy the other 20+ in the series all at once 8-)
