Totally enjoyed this book. I didn't even skip parts, like I did in the first book. The phrase "I hung on every word" is apt.

I've been yelling at my kids in "the stylings of George R.R. Martin": sit thee down at the table to sup, fruit of my loins! If you fail to complete thy homework assignment ye shall be lacking in Knowledge and bring shame upon the family name. I don't care if you're 11, you're a man almost grown, put these dishes away in their proper place! I don't care if you're 15 and can do whatever you want-prepare thyself to be married off to the ugliest, oldest, richest man!

Guess what? It doesn't work any more than yelling at them in regular English. Perhaps they need to read these books to find out what happens to Those Who Disobey.
