This book had a lot of unexpected twists and turns, however, the EDITING was aboslutely horrible. I don't know if I had a first edition or what, but Sugar Ray Dodge should really fire his editor. The mistakes didn't make it so that i couldn't understand the book, but towards the middle it was over the top and really frustrating. All in all though the book was pretty good. Could have had a bit better ending, but the twists and turns throughout made up for the not so ORIGINAL ending!

SugarRay Dodge I think you read the very first 2007 edition, and even if you didn't, your criticisms are absolutely justified. I am relieved, however, to know that you enjoyed it despite its flaws. An extended and largely re-edited version of the book is available for free download here on GoodReads (just click the Read Book button underneath the cover art.) After the original novels ends, another story with many of the same characters begins. Its three novelettes that form a loose trilogy sequel I have dubbed "Scruffy's Revenge." And in all honesty, I like the Scruffy's Revenge arc better than the original novel. But I'm going on and on. Thanks for reading. - SRD
