it was ok

I probably read more Vachss than I care to admit. But I like his version of crime noir with a twist. Most of his books revolve around Burke, a shadowy sort that tracks and "takes care of" child molesters. Not easy stuff, but gritty, quick-paced with a absolute moral code that is harsh but admirable. I guess that's what I like.

This book doesn't feature Burke, but a get away driver. The driver possesses a similar moral code that drives his actions. The book isn't as passionate as his Burke novels, but is an interesting character study.
