liked it

Liked it enough to read the next in the series. I agree with some of the other reviewers--cover art was lousy (who and what is it showing?) the women are a little bit cardboardish. However, it is fun and entertaining. One nice thing is the atmosphere of the book. It's like the middle ages in terms of technoglogy, but our own time in terms of sensibility. (And characters names!) I loved that a character in a Medieval-like fantasy world would be named Eddie and speak like a hardboiled detective. Quibble: Would have loved a map of the universe Bledsoe created. And, what the hell does the title mean?
