This was a very good book - at first, I really thought it would be boring and that I would not enjoy it, but now I am super glad I gave it a shot. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I would recommend to anyone. The story centers on a woman who survives an Armenian earthquake, only to lose her children and husband. She ends up moving to America, where she becomes a housekeeper and begins to try to build a new life for herself. Needless to say, she finds out later that her husband survived, and is recuperating not too far away from where she is living in PA. The woman is now married, and has many hard choices to make. Sorry for the spoilers. Very good book and I would like to thank my sister Eva for lending it to me.

Susieville Thanks for the spoiler about the husband being alive :( Now I don't have to read it.
