This book was extremely interesting and very thoughtful and clever. I personally do not like post modern books, but I didn’t mind this one too much. This is a story about a trip taken into the city and their adventure there and what they saw, and then their trip back home. But there is more to the book and just the story of their trip to the city and back home and what they came across. The picture and the text go in the style of a round trip. You start off the story reading from left to right front to back, but that is not where the story ends. When you get to the last page of the book you turn the book upside down and read the book from back to front. When looking at the pictures you’ll notice that when flipped right side up they look like what it’s talking about during the day, but when flipped upside down reading about their journey back home the same pictures as before turn into knew pictures for their adventure back home.
