What a great read. I was not able to appreciate it in school when I read it. Great descriptions and observations. One of my favorite lines in the book: "I was beginning to read his body English." :D

Terri I love this book. We visited the Courtroom in the Old Monroe County Courthouse in Monroeville, Alabama that served as the model for the trial scene in the movie. Harper Lee grew up going to real trials in this courthouse with her lawyer father. If you are a real fan, you should put this on your list of literary places to visit.

Mike Smith my favorite line is unprintable, but I like it because I feel like it so perfectly captured the setting and the time.
