A moving book, and a well read audiobook. Unfortunately, like its companion volume, The Wednesday Wars, some of the male characters are depicted as so evil at the start of the book that their rehabilitation seems far fetched. There is also a digression to Broadway that is so unlikely it borders on absurd. But all in all a gratifying read, with a lot of ideas that come together very cohesively in the end.
