"One Rough Man" was rough reading at times. Maybe it's me. Just tired of these techno-defense Tom Clancy like tomes. Could have been shorter, sometime too much detail and jargon on TTP-tactics, techniques, and procedures. Too many coincidences. The protagonist, Pike, you want to like as the noble warrior but he's a bit of a jerk at times. We have the conspiracy within the conspiracy plot line as well as the defense contractors as sociopaths industrial assembly line. There's seems to be no end to former SEALs, SF, etc who will kill women and children for big bucks. I did enjoy how Pike terminates a drug lord in mid sentence while's he on his "do you know who I am " tirade. Lots of action and some page turning here. We're set for another adventure at the end of this book. Will be interesting to see if that's the course we're on for the next in the series.
