I've enjoyed this series so far, but still there are things that keep me from giving each book a four or higher. This particular book was good - I liked the idea of Rodgrigo and Gloryanne living together in hiding/undercover and each thinking the other something they're not. The problem comes when Rodrigo just can't see that even though Gloryanne is supposedly uneducated, she obviously has intelligence. He deliberately sticks his head in the sand and refuses to look past that one thing - an important thing if one can truly see a gap in their thought processes, but not when its obvious that they are on equal footing in their exchanges. In my opinion Rodrigo is an intellectual snob and refuses to trust his feelings because he doesn't think that Gloryanne has a degree.
