** spoiler alert ** I've just finished rereading Kane Richards Must Die and this is the part where I probably be hated... I don't want to sound bad but I need to... (Sorry....) I need to be honest with my opinions regarding this novel...

So okay... Here goes...

The plot was good, it was entertaining, only it was like reading a first draft format... (Oh... Don't hate me yet..)

Actually, Shanice Williams had written my favorite story theme, badboy/playboy-meets-nicegirl/newgirl. It was a common theme, but, a powerful one especially if proper handled. Suranne Williams was the main character of the story and yet, she turned out as a flat character... She has no development... No personality at all... Her world only revolved on Kane, as if he's the only character on the story.. The other characters were kind of neglected, especially Aunt Clacy... The story seemed to fast forward... She didn't lay proper groundwork for what's to come on Suranne and Kane (remember Kate and Kane's past relationship??)

On Kane and Suranne's relationship, I think I will agree on most of the readers who commented that their relationship was all physical... I couldn't feel the depth of their so-called love for each other... Kane being the guy who bedded lots of girls didn't really see Suranne as did different. If he really saw Surrane's difference he should have treated her in different way. He also had a difficulty of telling to Suranne that he loved her. He only refers to Suranne as "MY GIRL".

The ending was a cliff hanger.. I didn't know if Shanice were planning to do a sequel... But hopefully not.

Kane Richards has the potential to be an excellent read, only she didn't gave it a chance to develop.

Hopefully, Shanice wouldn't hate me for this review.. Sighs.
