The Empanada Brotherhood
by John Nichols
by John Nichols
As a fan of John Steinbeck and his mastery of vignettes as a medium, I found this novel a great read. It was funny and the characters were charming. The setting of New York City is pulsing in this book in the separate stories of those who gather at the empanada stall. It'll break your heart and then lift your spirits, like any good book should.
