it was amazing
bookshelves: working-hard, esol, just-for-fun-k-2, predicting, science-spiders, science-literature, science

This book is for: PreK-1
Topic: Spiders (could use as and Engage for food chains and food webs)
This book is a simple story of a spider who works hard to complete his web. During the process the spider could stop and go off with one of his friends but continues working. This book could be used to ask students "Why is he making a web?" This discussion could springboard your lesson about food chains and food webs.
This book could also be great for talking to students who become easily distracted in class. Talk about how the spider worked hard to get something done.
