This book would be great to use for 5th graders when learning about Georgia landforms under earth science in the Georgia Performance Standards. This book has many great landforms in Georgia that would be very beneficial to 4th-5th graders when introducing or elaborating on Georgia landforms. We could discuss weathering that has taken place and erosion at these locations.

Christi I like your idea. To extend the lesson, maybe groups of fifth graders could each take one of the "wonders" and further explore it and then present to the class.
