bookshelves: stopped-reading

I think the book had potential, but it was lacking in cohesiveness. Rather than being "The Story of King Arthur," it's instead "A Random Collection of Interconnected but Non-Chronological Anecdotes." They are somewhat topical, such as how he came to marry Guinevere and how he obtained the Round Table.

I think I'm partly prejudiced against the book because I can't stand Steinbeck and I got a negative vibe every time I picked it up to read it.
