really liked it
Read from December 11 to 15, 2016

Something pushed me to reread this book and I am glad I did. There are some books that aging makes you understand, this is one of those books. I read this more than 5 years ago. Growing older and independent from parental and adult supervision has showed me how real this book is, Nigeria is more messed up than this book mentions. The corruption in the civil service and the social environment has gone of the chart. The ' anyhowness' is harrowing. It is a people who are poised to survive no matter what, but somehow has soft and beautiful edges that turn your soul to milk.

TC is a brilliant writer. This book needs to be required reading to all our leaders.
