really liked it

This book hooked me from the start and it was only half-way through that I realised it was Christian fiction. This is the first Christian fiction I have ever read.
The plot is great and the story well-written. You have a successful lawyer who is accused of murdering his wife, murdering and raping his 12 year old daughter, and clubbing his son with a baseball bat. Quite violent, gruesome crimes. The story is written in the first person, and what I really enjoyed is that you felt that you were experiencing everything that the wrongly accused man felt. The writing was descriptive, yet unflowery, and I liked that. There were times towards the end when the Christian message seemed a bit contrived, but it was doable because the story and writing was so great.
