I still liked this book regardless of how many stars I give it.
But there is nothing more disappointing then a squeal that just doesn't live up to its predecessor. This book fell flat for me on so many leaves, I liked the action and the plot, but the leading lady (Kate) made me want to gag! There is nothing more disappointing than a heroin who begs for a mans attention and affection. this reminded me of twilight, where Bella was left in the woods feeling utterly hopeless and couldn't live without her dear old Edwards *double gag*! I could barely stand to read this book, so many times I wanted to throw my Sony across the room, every damn page was Kate begging, yes begging for Henry to love her! The whole point of this book shouldn't have been her living in her sisters shadow but its seems that was the only plot and I that is why I couldn't fully enjoy this book. Also there was no romance or chemistry between Kate and Henry. The couple of scenes they had weren't what I'd call heartfelt or warm, they left me hoping Kate would end up with James. However things finally turned from bad to good with the last couple of chapters, but even than I still didn't get a sense of happy from the couple. It did leave off with a nice cliffhanger mind you, and I am all for a good cliffhanger but am hoping book 3 there will be more love, romance or at least some kind of emotion from Kate and Henry! I was really hoping to love this book but I really it just left a bitter taste in my mouth. here's hoping book 3 won't disappoint me and I'll be sure to keep an open mind and not expect too much :D
