really liked it

I enjoyed this little mystery a lot. I knew it was "Christian fiction" going into it, but it is NOT preachy at all like so many others. The characters' faith seems genuine and unaffected. The mystery itself is good--didn't see the end coming until shortly before big reveal. My only complaint: it's a bit long.... I think it could be tightened up a bit there in the middle. Another small issue: the perspective changes bothered me a touch because this really seems like Cooper's story; the shift occasionally to his cousin Gordy and his friend Hiro were distracting. I read an ARC of the book.
