This was probably the most disturbing book I've ever read. It's so disturbing, as a matter of fact, my sister-in-law made my brother remove it from their household when she got pregnant.

It's about pedophilia/molestation. It's written by a woman. Some of it takes place in prison from the point of view of a pedophile. At the same time, the story about what he did to Alice is taking place. It's disturbing, to say the least. This book is not for everyone, not at all.
