A very interesting topic: the way corporations and the US government use non-military means to destroy other governments. I had problems with the writing. I didn't find Perkins sympathetic and found everything he said a little bit suspect. I'm not sure I could believe his pangs of guilt or his great luck with his energy company. There was also too much of a "connect-the-dots" feeling to his work in the last half of the 20th century and the events leading up to September 11th. Everything seemed a bit too convenient.
