it was amazing

Loved it! This is the second in the series, but it could easily be read as a stand alone (enough back story is given.) This is a simple and very romantic story of a young Irish woman, Brianna, who runs her own B&B in a remote area of Ireland. In the dead of winter, she takes on an extended guest -- a famous author, Grayson, who plans to stay a few months and write his next novel. He quickly becomes enchanted by her and involved in the lives of those in the village. It was such a beautiful love story, and I welled up with happy tears towards the end. I can see why this book is considered one of her best, and it is listed as a top 100 on the AAR website (likebooks.com). For those who like their romance with some steam, the sensuality and passion between hero/heroine was paletable. Plenty of beautiful bedroom scenes, not overly graphic but very sensual. Grayson was an amazing hero and Brianna was so likable. I can't find one negative thing to say about this one.

Barbara I LOVED these books too! I was so sad when I was done reading them, it felt like I was saying goodbye to long lost friends.

Miss Kim I loved this one the best out of the series. I liked watching Brianna grow into herself. I was rooting for them the whole time.

Barbara Me too =)

♡Karlyn P♡ Kim - I agree! As much as I loved Born in Fire, I too thought Born in Ice was much better. I am now on chapter 3 of Born in Shame. Part of me wants to read it really slow as I don't want this series to end.

Miss Kim I wasn't as happy with Born in Shame, but I liked how it wrapped up everyone with happily ever after!

Teryl I loved Murphy from BIS, but not the heroine. Born in Ice was my fav though, loved Grayson.

Miss Kim I liked Murphy too, and I can't even remember the heroine's name. Amanda, maybe? She was too negative.

♡Karlyn P♡ Her name is Shannon, named after the river where her (biological) parents fell in love. I'm at the point in the book where Murphy and Shannon first meet up and he is a bit tounge tied. I really liked Murphy in the last two books, so I am looking forward to him as the hero in this one!

willaful This was also my favorite. Although Born in Fire had that hilarious portrait she drew...

♡Karlyn P♡ I need to re-read that one too, but I went with this one as it was my favorite in the series (and one of my favorite by Nora Roberts!)
