really liked it

I read this to my daughter, who absolutely loved it. Since this a 'younger' reader's book, I can only give it 4 stars myself, but we really enjoyed reading it together. This book really opens your mind to the idea of cellular memory, what happens after death, family dynamics, and making the most of life while you can. Fyi - this book touches upon the issues of anorexia, teens 'making out' and some defiance against parents, so keep in mind the age of your child and whether you want to discuss these issues with her at this time. For my 10 year old, the issues made the book a little 'taboo', aka exciting, and it opened up discussion for us to share our ideas on these issues.
