CURSE OF THE BLUE STONE is a very engaging story reminiscent of The Pirates of the Caribbean. Although a lot of the same elements appear in this story, CURSE OF THE BLUE STONE still took me on a very well written journey of action, adventure and true love. I love the descriptions Cara North offers readers. It almost felt as though I was the naughty wench taken away by Johnny Depp to be his love slave. A girl can wish, right? The relationship between Delia and Augustus starts out tenuous—Delia is kind of afraid of him and his intentions. However, when these two do become amorous, I was waiting for the ship to explode and sink. Full of a wonderful mix of paranormal, romance, and some wonderfully passionate love scenes, CURSE OF THE BLUE STONE is a wonderful way to while away an hour!
