I won this book from the goodreads giveaway program and I'm so glad I did! I might not have known about it otherwise, but then again I think it is destined to become a big hit! It was a great read, a funny, wise-cracking, gritty, suspenseful detective story, but with well developed characters. It was fast-paced, with no extraneous happenings, dialogue, sub-plots,or information. It also offers a poignant realistic view of aging. I can't wait for the next in the series. It will make a great movie!
