it was amazing

I first got "Eleven" on my 11th birthday, it as I continued reading the series each year, it has all but mirrored my own life- I think that's why I loved it so much. Perfectly paced, funny, and insightful, the Winnie Years series is a must read for every girl ages 11-13. The book explains everything without seeming repetitive, so much in fact, that I didn't even realize that there is another book before this, called "Ten". (Which I plan on reading ASAP!)

In Eleven, Winnie and her best friend, Amanda, are growing apart. Amanda's shaving her legs and wearing cute clothes, and Winnie is still making sandcastles and wearing her Big Mac T-shirts. Amidst all this, Winnie has to deal with her moody teenage sister, Sandra, and her sticky little brother Ty. Winne starts hanging out with babyish Dinah Divine, and it's all sure to bring on a whole new wave of adventures.

Overal it was a great book! A must read!
