Hannah usually spends her time making cookies for her business, the Cookie Jar. She tries on a dress for her mother's book launch, and it's much too small. Her sister, Andrea, convinces her to go to a health club to try to lose weight before she needs to wear the dress. Hannah dates detective, Mike, and dentist, Roger and is trying to decide which one might be the right one. When Hannah finds Ronnie, a fitness teacher, dead in the hot tub, there are lots of suspects, including Mike; Ronnie has been trying to seduce every appropriately aged male in town, married or not. Since Ronnie also worked in the police gym, most of the detectives in town can't participate in the investigation, it's up to Hannah to find the murderer.
