Read from April 15 to 18, 2012

As always I find I can't put his books down. Finished in two days. A compelling piece of intrigue in another New Jersey neighborhood. Megan formerly known as Cassie 17 years ago gets an urge to visit her secret past that her husband and two children have no idea about. She is in Atlantic City and goes back to the strip club she worked at before her life really came apart. Her former boyfriend Ray Levine a photographer also has problems. He has never gotten over Cassie and that fateful night they were ripped apart to never see or hear from each other since. Detective Broome who has not let go of a murder from 17 years ago that he can not solve and who stays loyal to the case for the sake of himself and the mans wife. A collision course of events in the seedier side of Atlantic City. A couple of very unusual enforcers. I would have liked to see how the last particular battle had turned out in Harlans words but he doesn't do it. An omission I wished he had filled. Enjoy terrific as usual.
