Paris, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down

The author of this book went to Paris expecting to find the Paris that ex-pats of the Algonquin era had encountered, but it was different. At first, this difference was jarring for him, but he learned to love the real Paris of today.
This book was funny and smart. It explored stereotypes in interesting ways, and all of the people who he encountered were alive on the page. I truly enjoyed reading this ex-pat account.
