CONS

the character can be extremely annoying and obnoxious at times

PROS

this kind of reflects real life cos everyone at some point in their lives would be extremely annoying and obnoxious too, thinking they have all the answers when they never did.

CONS

the main character never apologised to doug for calling him controlling and manipulative, because really his actions were justified and she was being a real hypocrite because if the roles were reversed she would have done the same thing if not worse. and plus, he did it for her.

CONS

the main character also never apologised to her mother for being so mean to her, especially since the mother only did what she did because she though zoey was in danger.

PROS

interesting plot. good charcters

CONS

not enough character development (in my opinion). i don't think zoey learnt enough.

CONS

writing these kinds of books which start after the main character has lost memory and spends the rest of the book trying to get it back, its always a risk because you face the very real possibility of the reader tuning off, cos, lets face it, it can be very bring and frustrating in times. i have only known a select few authors who are able to write these kinds of stories and pull them off and jenifer echols' forget you, did not quite reach that mark but came extremely close

CONS

when zoey found out that doug had been abused as a child WHY DIDN'T SHE DO ANYTHING?

PROS

there was nothing that she could do, i guess, except maybe go to the police. but then doug would never speak to her again so...

PROS

it was a good story. not one of the best stories i've ever red and definitely not as good as going too far but still pretty good
