Really great summary of everything I previously learned from his book, In Defense of Food. As stated in the introduction to this book, it isn't intended to be a strict guide, but rather he hopes that a handful of the rules will be memorable enough to be useful. I think, for me, it was a good reminder that I want to be more healthy while at the same time giving me a few easy things I can do.

Rules that stuck out to me that I'm going to attempt (I'm actually mixing a few here):

- No seconds, no snacks, no sweets except on days beginning with S. (or special occasions)
- Only eat natural sweets (ie. fruits) or treats I make (usually for special occasions)
- Eat more plants.
