really liked it

If you stick EXACTLY to the events of PRIDE & PREJUDICE and make all the decisions Elizabeth makes, you'll get your perfect little marriage with Darcy. But you could just read PRIDE & PREJUDICE for that. Make mistakes; Screw up. It's hilarious.

Attempt #1: Disfigured by gypsies.
Attempt #2: Smothered to death by the nauseating meekness of Fanny Price.
Attempt #4: Trampled by Caroline Bingley's carriage, that murdering whore.
Attempt #5: Died an old maid.
Attempt #6: Mr. Darcy proposes at which point Lizzie FREAKS THE SHIT OUT while I remained unimpressed. Marriage.
Attempt #7: Fuck Marriage! Become a novelist!

There's more of the book to read, yes, but I'm saying I've "finished" with it because I married Mr. Knightley, and that was the goal of reading the book. I only continued for the sake of Elizabeth Bennet and letting her marry Darcy (who is clearly inferior to Mr. Knightley in every way no matter what you say to me.) There's so many more storylines of this book I'd like to explore, however. AMAZING Christmas gift from a faraway friend.
