Ethan is such a broken character. He’s already been through so much while he’d been away from his family, and he still goes through a lot once he’s back. At first I blame this all on his brother Ethan. He seemed stubborn and selfish, but then a twist at the end changed my view of everyone.

Cami and Ethan were so cute together. Cami was thoughtful, sweet, understanding and always made Ethan feel better. She knew exactly what to say without making him feel uncomfortable, unlike everyone else. She was just what he needed to cope with what he was dealing with.

Another character that made Ethan feel better was his six year old sister, Gracie. Gracie was adorable, smart and reminded him of what he was like before he was abducted. It was as if he could relive the years he was gone with his family just by observing her.

Overall, Dead to You was a fast and quick read that I enjoyed very much. I read it in two days, but could’ve easily finished it in one if I’d have more time. It was a heartbreaking story with romance and even some amusing thoughts from Ethan. I recommend this to anyone wanting a quick, but not too light read.
