This is a popular book amongst the students I've worked with. The story is entertaining and funny - which are two vital factors in getting and maintaining a young student's attention. The story would work great in a science lesson!

This could be used for a science lesson on worms in a 2nd grade class! Worms are important creatures because they affect the spreading of nutrients throughout our soil. (Changes in our environment). GREAT book!
