Having read all of Jessica Day George’s books, I couldn’t wait for this one to come out. So, naturally, as soon as it was available, I had to have it. When the king and queen go missing, it’s up to their children, especially the youngest one, 11 year old Princess Celie with her detailed knowledge and “friendship” with the family’s magical castle, to protect their home and kingdom.
This was such a cute story! I absolutely loved it and really, really want a magic castle all of my own. How much fun would that be? A castle that adds new rooms, rearranges the layout, literally kicks out people it doesn’t like it, and is, basically, alive would be so much fun to live in. This book is adorable and I recommend it for any fans of Jessica Day George, lovers of fairy tales, or anyone of any age who simply wants a fun, cute story to read.
